WOW...the last 6 months have been a whirlwind for our family. I have undergone a major surgery to take care of some medical issues, Kate had corrective eye surgery, Anna has 3 cavities that need to be dealt with, and my husband started a new job with Honda of America. It is only by God's grace and the constant prayer support from our loved ones that we are still standing. The biggest transition has been Kate starting Kindergarten. YIKES! I had no idea how hard this would be on me. Needless to say, nine days in to the start of school I have already had a meeting with the teacher. Yes, I am a bit neurotic; however, for any mother out there, you understand the huge responsibility you feel for your babies and it is very difficult to trust them to basically a complete stranger. This is part of that 'letting go' process. Being a parent has definitely taught me much more about God's unconditional love for me. What an absolute joy and blessing!
PS: I don't have a working digital camera at the moment. I hope to find a good deal and get one soon so I can also chronicle our life's adventure with pictures.
