Really? Snakes?

I have been blessed with a darling daughter who really enjoys the Lord's creation....even snakes!  Fortunately for her she has a dear friend who is as equally impressed with snakes as her.  Yeah for me too! 

They captured this snake at my friend Jacque's house.  We ended up having an impromptu sleepover with her girls when she needed to take her mother to the hospital.  The snake came with us.  After we did research, okay, I did the research, and found out it was a Northern Red Belly, which is the smallest snake in Ohio, and harmless, they played, played, and played with him.  Yeah for them...I guess.  They put that little snake through the ringer and we were all surprised he was still alive in the morning.  Here are some pictures of him going through the obstacle course they created.  I love these girls...don't care for the snake!!
