Well, it is at our house, most of the time! However, as Kate is learning how to sound out words to spell new words 'butt' is an exciting word to spell. This morning as we were getting around, she said, "Mommy, I can spell 'butt'. B - U - T." Now while she is correct in her spelling, you can guess what kind of 'butt' she was trying to spell. However, knowing that I would be less than impressed, she said, "Mommy, you know there are two different kinds of 'buts.' I was spelling the good one." (Sure you were...)
If the story only ended there! On the way home from church, the girls asked what square dancing was. Their daddy sang the following to them, "Swing your partner round and round, kick'em in the butt and sit them down." Needless to say, this is what we heard all the way home from church.
I have had enough "butts" today! :)
**Sidenote: Aunt Paige & Uncle Matt are members of a Square Dancing Club. They were headed to a dance after church, thus the question about square dancing.**
