Uncertain Times

I think we are all beginning to feel the crunching of budgets, personally or professionally. Honda has announced that during January production will only be working 3 days a week. Scott will be able to sign up to work on Mondays and Fridays; however, depending on how many people sign up, you will be picked according to seniority. I am trying to rest in God's promises that are found in Matthew 6. I hope that you, if facing some of these same challenges, will also find solace in His words.

Matthew 6:25-34 (only excerpts below but I encourage you to read the entire passage)

vs. 31, 33, 34 "Therefore, do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear?' ... But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

Cara, that is a great passage and I trying to hold faith in those words myself. Day by day, though, the faith gets harder to keep as we watch the finances. I pray that you will not be as crunched by the cuts as you anticipate.
