Today my beloved grandma, Honey, would have turned 91 years old. She was an incredible grandmother and I miss her physical presence in my life. However, she is with her Maker, sending sunshine, smiles, and I am sure a few smirks my way! She was a classic lady, always dressed to the nine. I love to hear my father and aunt tell stories of them growing up and the trips to Chicago they made on the train. I love to reminisce about the days we spent growing up on Lynn St in the big old house. Cheese puffs, walnuts, the "Vega", aluminum Christmas tree, pool table, "Golden Girls", grease in the cast iron skillet, and so much more. You knew that you were loved to the core by Honey. One day, one day we will be reunited.

Today we celebrated her memory as my Aunt Kelie, cousin Carmen, the girls, and I all met for dinner. We laughed, we cried, and we enjoyed our memories. My dear little Anna is named after Honey, Anna Marie. Honey would eat her up...and every ounce of her ornery, drama filled spirit!
