It has been a crazy week, full of unexpected twists and turns so I am grateful for these quiet moments. The girls are with Grandma and I sit alone in the solitude of a very messy house. My brain is still racing from the "things" that need done; however, I seek peace. What were the things that brightened my week? Did I capture the moment in my mind? The moment to cherish in my heart?
~ My parents have signed on to Facebook. It is precious and just hilarious at the same time. I have been helping my dad create a group for his graduating class. He is emailing them telling them to join Facebook so they can all get connected on his group. One lady told him that she would have to have her son help her. It made me laugh as I have been helping my mom and dad too. "What is Flair?" they say. Precious moments to cherish!
~My drama queen Anna had a "splinter" stuck in her foot today while I was on a conference call. Luckily the ladies were very understanding as Anna was screaming bloody murder. She wanted me but I couldn't touch or look at her foot. If I came within even one foot the screams went up at least 2 octaves. Finally 2 hours later when we were getting ready to go to Grandma's, I held her down to get a look at the "splinter" that I still had yet to see. I have short, fat, chubby fingers! Let me just say that I was able to pull the "splinter" out with my bare hands. No need for tweezers. Precious moment to cherish.
