I have seen these on blogs, specifically Bakerella. I did mine a little different because I didn't have any candy melts. I made a chocolate ganache and then rolled some of them in either toasted pecans or toasted coconut. They were a little messy as the excess dripped off. I used my Pampered Chef stackable cooling rack to keep them upright while the chocolate was setting. Here is a link to the directions from Instructables.com. To be honest, I think mine are going to be too rich and I don't think I would make them again as they are rather time intensive. However, it was fun and since my sewing yesterday went from bad to worse as I had to rip out my stitches at least 3x, I had to do something that yielded some type of success. I am having lunch today with a friend and I usually bring dessert...so I killed two birds with one stone! The girls will also take one to their teachers today. I love sending in unexpected goodies to the teachers! Have a good day....!
UPDATE: I tasted some of the *misfits* that fell apart and they aren't too rich. Rich, but not too rich!
