Ah...the Lord is Good!

Today I pulled out the woman's Bible study workbook I did in the fall.  I'll be honest, I didn't quite finish every homework.  ;)  So I thought I would work on it today for my quiet time.  The Lord's timing is perfect.  Here is what I covered today:  DISCIPLINE! 

"The second greatest gift you can give you children is the 'rope' of discipine and it can't be underestimated."
"A child who learns to obey his parents can someday learn to obey God.  When we teach our children to listen to our voices to obey, we are training them to listen to God's voice and obey."

Lord Jesus, I admit that disciplining my children is hard for me.  Please give me the ability to take the authority over my children.  I want to live my life to please You, not please them.  O Lord, transform me by the renewing of your mind.  I pray this earnestly in the name of Jesus.  Amen.
