The Sun, The Son

I read this on my friend's blog and loved it!

Today I went out to do some errands in the cold snowy weather. I usually dread going out in the winter. That's why I bought snow pants this year - seriously, I wear them to school and when I shovel the driveway! But today was different. It was sunny. I actually smiled. I didn't hate being out; I rather enjoyed it. It made a huge difference in my day just because I noticed the sun shining on me.

Suddenly I had a spiritual connection. Even when I can't see the sun, it is always shining. Sometimes we just can't see it. However, God's Son, is always there and I need to make sure I take time to notice Him. Just like seeing a glimpse of the sun cheered me up. So, glimpsing the Son also reminds us that in the end - we win. We need not have a spirit of fear but power, love and a sound mind. We just have to tap into Him - but we must do it.

Whereas we have no control over the physical sun shining through the clouds or not, we do have
daily control whether or not we see the Son. Have you seen the Son today?

PS:  I have been on a blogging spree.  Whew!  I have had  lot on my mind I guess.  I am not gifted like some to wrap it all up together.  Oh well.....
