We had such a wonderful Christmas Eve! While I missed the special time we have shared with my family years past by attending Christmas Eve service at my parents' church, I invited Scott's mother, Connie, over for a nice dinner, roasted chicken, baked potatoes, farm fresh corn, rolls, and salad, all atop my Christmas dishes! After dinner we each opened up 1 package which contained our new set of PJ's. I loved having Connie be apart of this special time with our family. While we are certainly different people, I love her to pieces. After presents, we then enjoyed coffee and Razzleberry pie, courtesy of Marie Callendar! We were going to watch the movie "The Nativity Story" but it was a little too detailed for the girls to watch so we listened to Kate read "Twas the Night Before Christmas."
Well, I told you I had been {creating} some Christmas presents. I made these PJ bottoms for the girls. My goal was to have a complete set, however, due to time and complexity of sewing a top, I didn't get it done. Kate right away loved hers. Anna had to be convinced. While I was initially heartbroken, I wasn't totally surprised since Anna has issues with clothes sometimes.
Here are our cookies, carrots, and notes for Santa and his reindeer!
Note above: "Dear Santa I hope you like the cookies I like you and rillllley want a maracken doll I love you Kate"
Note below: "Dear Santa (notice the backwards S - too cute) I HoP you Hav A GD tim Love Anna"

You did a SUPER job on the pjs. I really need to learn how to sew. It's been MANY years since I used a machine. I wish I had that talent. GREAT JOB!!!!!
Did Scott make the baby beds? They look wonderful!
