Thankfulness...

1. Anna's best girlie from her school days is coming over this week for a surprise visit!  After multiple attempts to contact the family I had pretty much given up hope.  My heart was so overjoyed when the mother called me tonight and wants to set up a playdate.  I will share more later why this is such a major, major blessing!

2. Kate broke her arm on Memorial Day.  I keep forgetting to post pictures...duh!  Anyhow, we found out yesterday she will only have her cast for two more weeks and it will be off in time for her to fully enjoy her first experience of overnight camp!  YEAH!

3. Yesterday was a tough day as I had taken the keys and Scott had no way to get to work.  Big huge bummer.  He had gone in to town to get copies of the key made and on the way home the brake line went out on his truck.  I am thankful it was him driving and not me since he knew what was happening and how to handle it safely.  He took it straight over to our friend's house for a fixing!  ;)

4. When Scott inquired about getting a copy of the key at the Honda dealership they told him it would cost $30 for the key and $70 for the electronic synchronization.  WHAT?  Are you serious?  Scott asked about a discount for Honda employees.  10%.  Anywho, he left and this morning called the Honda service center at the plant.  $12.  The key will only cost us $12.

5. Recently I found out my darling, precious cousin is expecting.  This is a true miracle...for many reasons!  ;)

I LOVE a post like this. Very encouraging to us readers. :) Not sure which to comment on first. So many big things happened recently. How can someone not see the hand of God in our lives??? $12??? WOW!!!! And a cousin expecting? I can relate to this miracle. We currently have two girls in our life who are experiencing this. (one pregnant by an adopted embryo). Sorry about the broken arm. :( Yay for a play date!!! Car stuff is scary. I don't know what I would do if I had a major car issue with all of the kids in tow. So glad it was Scot and not you AND that he was protected. Praising God right along with you!! Hugs. :)
