After a long, absolutely wonderful, and blessed day spent with the extended family, we came home and prepared our hearts for Christmas. We didn't end up venturing out into the harsh conditions to attend the Candlelight Service at church; however, we read the Christmas story as a family and then all prayed together. It brings such tremendous joy to hear your babies talk about Jesus living in their hearts and thanking him for dying on the cross for their sins. We then opened our two presents reserved for Christmas Eve: a new ornament and new jammies! It was such great fun tonight...just the four of us. We then did baths, prepared Santa's snack, and then read "Twas the Night Before Christmas." Once we knew the little ladies were snug in their beds, we had the best time playing up Santa. I just love it! Life is so good!
