Addiction

I have an addiction with cookbooks, food, and the grocery!  Each week I review the ads, try to plan our meals, make a strict grocery list based solely on our meal plan, and then hit the store.  Unfortunately, going to the grocery for me is like going to a candy store for a child.  As long as I am by myself and not in a hurry, I could spend a good portion of my day perusing all the goodies!  Awhile back I bought chorizo just because I saw it and knew I would make something fabulous with it.  Today I bought the quesadilla melting cheese.  So...I am going to try to whip up some of that fabulous queso dip you can order at a mexican restaurant once I find a recipe.  Tonight we are trying orzo with peas, parmesean cheese, and fresh parsley.  I have been sampling and it is totally scrumptious!  I am pairing it with grilled chicken marinated in italian dressing, a garden fresh (literally) salad, and garlic bread.  Yumm-O!  Some of my other finds the last few weeks I couldn't resist were hoison sauce, ginger, and some different kinds of vinegars.  I told Scott we must increase my grocery budget!!
