I'm a Fixin'

"...let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Christ, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."  ~  Hebrews 12:1b-2

This is one of my most favorite verses.  I love how it reminds me to run with endurance. While this isn't the greatest connection for me since I can't run, I still get the point and love the analogy.  I especially love the "fixing our eyes on Christ, the founder and perfecter of our faith."  WOW!!  What comfort, knowing He founded my faith and is perfecting it.  Then to finish off the verse reminding us of the price he paid at the cross but is ALIVE and sitting on His throne!  If that doesn't get you excited, your crazy!  Plum crazy!  Soooo, I'm fixin' to fix my eyes on Him!
