1. I made this amazing cake called Buckeye Cake. Oh boy, it was rrrriiiiiccccchhhh! The cake was actually made for my good friend Kristin's 29th birthday, but we had a ton of leftovers because it was so rrrriiiiiccccchhhh! 3 seperate layers, all from scratch! Layer 1: Chocolate Cake Layer 2: Peanut Butter yum-yum Layer 3: Chocolate Ganache Top it with Vanilla Bean ice cream for a taste of heaven! (Is that sacreligious?)
2. We got reconnected with our friends Matt and Erin (once again thanks to FB). Matt and Scott were buddies and neighbors growing up. So many, many memories.... We got together for dinner and let the kids play at the mall. It was great! Adam and Lori showed up at the mall that night so the stroll down memory lane was even sweeter! God is so good! He gives us these reconnections to encourage and strengthen our spirits. I am always amazed by His goodness!
3. This last set of pictures and movie is from when we went to the Family Fun Night at the elementary school. Kate got to hold a baby croc...or was it an alligator? Hmmm, I never can remember. Also, there was this cowboy guy on stilts that did a nifty trick. (I am sorry it is sideways.)
