Ahhhhh....summer afternoons! You either love them or hate them! Yesterday we were all reaching that point of being crazed and cranky with each other and since there were no plans for the evening there wasn't any sight of relief! Soooo...I decided to let the girls paint. After some tears and drama about getting on old clothes, we finally were ready to pick out some wood from daddy's scrap pile. (Sidenote: I was kinda sad because I was hoping to get my hands on the very pieces they picked for some of my own crafting projects. Oh well....motherhood is all about self-sacrifice, right? Hahaha!!) I set out the paints, our crafting tablecloth, and let them go for it. They were shocked when I said I would not be bossy (yep, I am a bit controlling) and I have to say I did a pretty good job overall. Here are some pictures of the fun!!
We then all played in the pool for a bit!
**My camera is broken. However, I downloaded pictures for my MIL from her camera and she forgot to take it home with her....soooooo, I am enjoying a really awesome, way better than mine, camera!**
