No matter what situation you find yourself in right now, God has blessed you! Sometimes dark valleys are necessary. They remind us of our need to rely on HIM and HIS strength. We need to fix our eyes on CHRIST, the author and perfector of our faith. I have friends dealing with infertility. Have been for about 12 years now. No answers from the doctors as to why. It is like a big, open wound that rips their hearts to pieces each month with no reason as to why the wound is there. Yet they keep their eyes fixed on Christ and they count their blessings. I have several friends who are dealing with parents who have passed away way before "their time" due to cancer. Yet they keep their eyes fixed on Christ and they count their blessings. I have a friend whose mother just moved in with her family as she undergoes radiation for a cancer that is there but the doctor doesn't know where. Yet she is keeping her eyes fixed on Christ and counting her blessings. I have a couple of friends who struggle feeling loved and appreciated in their marriage, at times wondering if it is worth the fight. Yet they keep their eyes fixed on Christ and count the blessings that have come from the marriage and will continue to claim victory for their family. I have a sister who suffered from a stroke. Each day continues to be like climbing up a mountain while being on a downward escalator. Yet she keeps her eyes fixed on Christ and counts her blessings. The stories and situations could go on and on and on....but the answer and hope remains the same....CHRIST!
