So Sick...

I am so sick and tired of having to be on guard with even "Christian" media, literature, etc.  Seriously...I think Christ's heart is breaking about the things that are being done in His name.  The sad part is that people are falling for it left and right.  I know personally about a book that was recently listed on the NYTimes Bestseller's List that is a complete farce yet labled "Christian."  It seriously makes my stomach turn.  I am tired of us not staking our claim on TRUTH, BIBLICAL TRUTH!  Unsteady Christians see or hear these wolves throw in some verses here and there and then become convinced it is all good.  It is infiltrating so-called Christian literature, worship music, contemporary music, and other media sources.  I beg you to please be careful.  Research the "Christian" groups you are listening to.  Look up what churches they associate with or speakers they view as mentors.  Read doctrinal statements of these churches (or lack thereof), authors, and musicians.  It is sad that we live in a day when there is a lot of $$moola$$ in the "Christian" media industry so please pray for discernment and wisdom before you believe anything that isn't from the Word itself!
