Recently I found myself in a situation where I felt as though I had let a friend down because I had overdone my schedule.  I was profusely apologizing and this is what she said to me, "I forgive you."  Those 3 words, 11 letters, 2 spaces have been running through my mind ever since.  I can't forget them because the words were so simply said, yet so powerful.  It seemed strange to hear these words coming from another human.  I have been thinking about her act of forgiveness and can't imagine with my finite mind the depth of Christ's forgiveness for far, far worse than an "overdone" schedule.  WOW!  Perspective.  He got my attention with those 3 words, 11 letters and 2 spaces spoken by my sweet, sweet friend.
