Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Between last week and the beginning of this week 3 letters were sent home about the kids celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday this week.  Each day was a different and fun event in order to celebrate.  Monday - wear green, Tuesday - bring a stuffed animal, Wednesday - wear PJs, Thursday - wear silly socks, Friday - wear a hat.  YEAH!!  My girls love this kindof stuff!  So, each day we have been prepared and ready to show our Seuss Spirit!   Today was PJ day so the girls opted to wear their nightgowns with tights.  Well....tonight when I picked them up, Kate announced that only HER CLASS was celebrating with PJs.  In case you aren't following me, Anna was the one and only student in her Kindergarten class who wore PJs to school today.  I couldn't help but laugh myself silly.  Bless her little heart, she didn't cry but simply stated she was embarrassed but wasn't mad.  (Isn't she so precious?)  Anyhow, Who knew?  Her teacher and I had talked about making the kids Green Eggs & Ham on Friday so I just figured it was a schoolwide event.  WRONG SONG MOM!!  ;)  Again, I just cracked up laughing.  Anna's teacher wasn't at school today.  I can't imagine what in the world the substitute thought of Anna's mother who sent her to school in pajamas.  I asked Anna if anyone said anything to her.  She said her friend Ashley asked her about it and also Kayla but other than that noone else did.  I also asked her when she had realized our mistake and she said as soon as she got into her classroom.  As funny as it is/was, I felt horrible.  Bless her heart for being so forgiving!  Never a dull moment...

Just because....I haven't posted any recent pictures of my precious nephew in a looooong time.  Unfortunately, I haven't been able to love, snuggle, cuddle, and/or kiss on him because whenever I have had a possible chance someone has been sick so I couldn't.  Even though this isn't a Dr. Seuss book, my sister and brother-in-law read to Isaac all the time.
