I have 100 million things on my mind and it feels like 100 million also on my TO DO list and....my poor mother (she is so incredibly loving) who listened to me whine about it all. I seem to keep myself either too busy or not busy enough. UGH! Balance!! Speaking of Balance, we are doing a new Bible Study for small group called "Balanced" by Andy Stanley! LOVE IT!! So here are some of my crazy random thoughts...
- i need to blog. it is like a cleansing of my soul and mind. hmmm? who reads my blog? i know some people who read it. how honest should i be? hmmm? oh well, this is me, my mad thoughts, my craziness and i believe in being honest and real because i don't think moms let their guard down enough sometimes. we all are struggling to be the best wife, mom, christian, bible study leader or participant, cook, cleaner, volunteer, do i look pretty?, am i out of date?, sunday school teacher, laundry doer, seasonal clothes changer-outer, purger of the extras, maker of 'home', etc. ahhhh....focus cara! what is my point of reference? CHRIST!!
- kate's birthday.....cupcakes picked up on friday (yeah The Ribbon Box), benny's on thursday, birthday lunch saturday, birthday dinner saturday night, presents wrapped, food ready, ice cream - don't forget the ice cream, surprises planned, decorations ready....
- crestline - hmph! Lord - Help me speak truth with kindness and compassion while also motivate and instruct.
- preschool, round 2 - substitute thursday, afternoon only
- clean, clean, clean - ugh...my house needs a total workover!
- my sister...i miss, miss, miss her! ;( check the calendar to schedule an overnight...!!! maybe once to myself and another with the girls??? is that stretchin' it? hmmmm?
- $$$$ - conviction!
