Thankful Beyond Belief

I just finished reading a Karen Kingsbury book.  Take One is the title and it is the first book in a new series she started but has incorporated some of my favorite characters, the Baxter family & Flannigan family.  I just love how she is able to write books that not only evoke such powerful emotions within me but also challenge me spiritually.  As I read this story I was reminded of myself as I went through high school trying to figure out boys, dating, love, my standards, etc.  It also made me realize how in love I am with Scott.  He loves me for me.  He is so gracious, kind, and forgiving.  I am still so attracted to him on every level and it makes my heart giddy with excitement to think about all the years to come.  I just hope and pray my girls will follow the Lord and find a man like their daddy.
