Focus

Last night I was feeling really overwhelmed.  Today, I have regained my focus!  Here are some incredible truths I read today during my quiet time.

• Jesus did not come to help me be a mom.  He came to do it for me.  I don't need a "mothering instruction manual, " I need the One who has mastered parenting....
• I am not to gear up and try harder to accomplish these things (life stuff) independently from Him.  (Whoa - power punch!)
• John 14:20 ~ In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
• He did not come to help me with me life.  He came to be my life.
• The vine life of the Lord Jesus Christ is available to me on a continual basis.
• "Things, accomplishments, appearances" cannot satisfy me.  The only reliable source for me is the life of the Lord Jesus Christ.
• We all need someone with skin on when we are hurting and having difficulty.

Lord, I have a lot to learn about the great depth of Your love for me.  I want You to open my capacity to receive Your love.  I want to know in my 'knower' that Your love is enough when my husband, my children, and my friends let me down.  I'm ready to grow and I'm ready to learn.  Teach me in my innermost being.  I wasn You to be my power source.  I'm asking You now to be my life.  Reveal Yourself to me day by day so I can fully absorb the truth of who You are.  I love You Lord!
